Workzone Designs is a small, family owned business that my wife and I started about seven years ago when I was working for an electrical contractor. I began developing our product when the hospital I was working in started requiring the use of dust containment products for above ceiling work.
Over the years the crew and I have made changes to the design as we have worked in the units. As we were using our product every day in a hospital environment we were considering every system within the dust containment unit and how we could improve it.
We realized we needed to be very low impact to the hospital and one of our biggest hurdles was the extension cord needed to operate the required air scrubbers, which led to the development of the only cordless, rechargeable air scrubbing dust containment unit on the market.
